Usul al-Fiqh - Islamic Legal Theory Introduction

Usul al-Fiqh is the foundational science that provides the methodological framework for deriving Islamic rulings from the Qurʾān and Sunnah. It examines the principles and tools that underpin all Islamic legal and theological studies, whether in fiqh, ʿaqīdah, or tafsīr.

Taught by Shaykh Muhammad Huzaifah, a graduate of the Faculty of Shariah at the Islamic University of Madinah, the course explores the scope, historical development, and practical application of Islamic legal theory in a structured and accessible manner.
