Qasidah ‘Unwan al-Hikam, written by the famous scholar and poet al-Busti, is a short yet profound poem consisting of over 50 lines. The poem provides a collection of moral aphorisms and wise teachings on the importance of good character (akhlaq) and the purification of the heart, emphasizing key aspects of personal development, ethical conduct, and spiritual growth.
Taught by Shaykh Abdulwahid Stephenson, the course explores the deep meanings within each line of the poem, helping students understand and apply its lessons to their lives.
