Nukhbatul Fikr is an introductory text from an illustrious scholar Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani. Commonly used to introduces beginning students of knowledge into the science of hadith and the terminologies associated to the science.
This text will summarise some of the complex works which proceeded within his time on how to understand the detailed rudiments to this nomenclature and its systematic application.
Student will learn
- Types of chains of transmissions, which are acceptable or rejectable (Asanid),
- Types of Narrators of a transmission, who are acceptable or rejectable (Ra’wiy),
- Categories of Hadith and how to identify fabricated transmissions.
- Classification of narrators, who deemed more reliable by various factors & abilities.
