This is a course on the study of Fiqh, Islamic Law. The study of Fiqh is divided into two broad categories, ‘Ibaadah (worship) and Mu’amilaat (dealings and transactions). The source of knowledge of Fiqh is divine revelation, the Quran and the Sunnah fo the Prophet Muhammad.

The textbook for this course is Umdatul-Fiqh, which is a summarised book according to the Hanbali School of Islamic Law (Madhab). It is written by one of the greatest scholars in the history of Islam, Imam Ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi.

This course covers the Chapter of Nikah.

Shaykh Dr. Khalid Al-Mushayqih
Professor of Islamic Law at Qaseem Islamic University

Shaykh Khalid is a professor and teacher in the Haram Makkah Al Mukaramah. He is from the most senior students of Shaykh Uthaymeen and has authored many books on various topics, especially Fiqh and Aqeedah, including Ahkaam al-Itikaaf , Ahkaam al-Zakat and undertaken checkings of Sharh Umdatul-Fiqh are just a few of them.

Ustadh Yasin Munye, Graduate King AbdulAzziz University

Ustadh Yasin Munye is a graduate of King AbdulAzziz University in Jeddah, from the faculty of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. Alongside that he has studied under many of the scholars in Makkah and is currently pursuing a Masters. He completed his memorisation of the Quran before he left for his studies, and has since attained Ijazah in Hafs and Soosi. He studies in the Haram in Makkah with the Hadith scholars Shaykh Wasiullah Abbas and Shaykh Muhammad Adam Ethiyopi, from whom he has obtained Ijaazat in Sahih Bukhari, as well as attending the intensive seminars in islamic classical texts of Shaykh Salih al-Osaymee.

Ustadh Muhammad Huzaifah

Ustadh Muhammad Huzaifah is a graduate of the Faculty of Shariah, Islamic University of Madinah. He has several Ijazat in the Mutun Talib al-ilm from the Imam of Masjid al-Nabawi, Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin Al-Qasim. He completed a Masters in Islamic Education and is the founder of InkPot College. He has a great appetite for teaching, both online and classroom based, and has delivered many classes and courses, in Islamic texts and the Arabic language
